Roles & Responsibilities:
· Accounting and Financial Management
· Monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing as per IFRS and IUAS
· Budgeting, planning and strategy formulation
· Costing, cost control
· Business analytics and management reporting
· Developing policies and procedures, instituting internal controls, and ensuring regulatory and internal compliance
· Liaisoning with suppliers and customers
Desired candidate profile:
· CharteredAccountant, CPA, or ACCA with 5+ years of financial operations management, including 4+ years in a leadership role, ideally in manufacturing, multi-business, or holding companies, with Middle East experience preferred.
· Good working knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards IFRS / Iraqi Unified Accounting Standards
· Excellent command of English, including writing analytical management reports; knowledge of Kurdish and/or Arabic is an advantage
· Expertise in instituting internal controls, and framing policies and procedures
· Expert knowledge of budgeting, cost-center accounting and financial modeling
· Good experience in working with hashtag#ERP systems and hashtag#MSOffice Suite
· Ability to interpret laws, understand nuances, and analyze contracts
· Willingness to relocate Duhok in the Kurdistan region of Iraq
