Position Overview: 

The Prevention Officer- Legal will play a pivotal role in our GBV project, focusing on providing legal guidance, awareness-raising workshops, advocacy, and capacity-building training courses. This position requires a dedicated individual with a strong commitment to human rights, gender equality, and social justice. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal assessments and develop strategies to address legal issues related to GBV.
• Facilitate awareness-raising workshops and activities on legal rights, gender equality, and GBV prevention.
• Advocate for policy changes and legal reforms to improve protections for survivors.
• Develop and implement capacity-building training courses for stakeholders, including community members, law enforcement, and service providers.
• Collaborate with project partners and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support and coordination of services.
• Participate in monitoring, evaluation, and reporting activities related to legal services and program impact.
• Uphold ethical standards and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive legal information.
