Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Commercial Director with a technical background in software development to lead our marketing and sales efforts. As the Commercial Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and building strong customer relationships. Your deep understanding of software development will be instrumental in effectively communicating the value and capabilities of our products to technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing and sales plans to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing marketing and sales team, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes, adapting strategies accordingly.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive business expansion and enhance brand visibility.
  • Create and oversee the execution of compelling marketing campaigns, including online and offline initiatives, to generate leads and increase product awareness.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to ensure product offerings align with market demand and customer needs, translating technical features into compelling value propositions.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and prepare regular reports for executive management, offering actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Drive the negotiation and closure of high-value deals, maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and market dynamics to inform business strategies and decisions.

     

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Proven track record of success in senior-level marketing and sales roles, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in software products or relevant industries.
  • Strong leadership skills and a demonstrated ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Deep understanding of software development principles and terminology, allowing effective communication with technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Experience with CRM software and other relevant sales tools.
  • A passion for technology and a keen interest in staying updated on industry trends.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
